With a simple at-a-glance view, you can see all of your habits without having toggle specific settings. All of your habits are viewable, alongside your goals and achievements.

2: Simple Habit Features

When creating Simple Habit, we wanted to combine both minimalism and functionality into one easy-to-use platform. The idea stemmed from myself, the founder, becoming overwhelmed with the options and features available in other habit-tracking apps.

Notion was great until I began tracking even more detailed things with its properties and database features, and other apps were overly gamified to make them addictive.

Although creating an addictive app is appealing to some, I didn't want that for our users. I wanted a platform where you could log in to each day or week, and simply check off all the great habits you hope to build. Nothing more, nothing less.

For those looking simply to build quality routines, Simple Habit is the perfect tool. But for those looking for more than that – this isn't for you. And, in all openness, I actually think "more stuff" takes away from people actually hitting their habit goals.

Adding and tracking habits

Tracking habits is one of Simple Habit's core features. Add unlimited habits that mean the most to you on your journey to self-betterment.

To add a new habit, simply hit the "Add Habit" button, then type in your desired habit along with a goal you'd like to achieve for that month. If you don't want to add a goal and simple wish to track the habit, enter "0" and hit save.

Next, let's move onto goals and achievements.

Goals and achievements

Setting goals for your habits is a great way to keep on top of your routine-building journey. Once you've set a habit goal in the previous step, your goals, along with your achieved progress is captured at a glance. No need to toggle a new view or add on a new feature, it's always viewable along with all of your habits.

Once you hit your goal for a specific habit, the "Achieved" column will light up green to let you know you've crushed it for that month.

Now, let's discuss reflections.

Reflections

As Ray Dalio once famously said, growth + reflection = growth. On the flip side, growth without reflection = stagnation. Sadly, each year, many people shout the following from the top of their lungs (or Instagram stories): "NEW YEAR NEW ME!".

And although people's intentions are in the right place, their growth often lasts about a month or so before they revert back to their old ways.

At Simple Habit, we don't want you revert back to the you you're not proud of. Which is why we added a reflection feature, as seen below.

Reflections, as with your habits, goals, and achievements, are also viewable at a glance for the entire month. Use this section to write all about your achievements, or even things that didn't go as planned.

To build lasting habits, we need to develop what's referred to as "introspective awareness". In other words, a deeper understanding of our minds and emotions. Reflections allow you to quickly reflect on all the pros and cons of your habit-building journey in one tidy space.

To add a reflection, simply type anything that comes to your mind. This area is a safe place to get anything on your mind onto digital paper. The best part is that reflections are entirely encrypted, meaning they're for your eyes only. Our team at Simple Habit cannot view, nor edit your reflections once they've been written – this is yet another small but useful feature users love about our platform.

Oh, and did we mention that reflections auto-save? There's no need to hit a save button or worry about accidentally closing your browser. Once written, our platform saves it for you, ready to add to or reflect on at any time in the future.
